Braking Unit For VFD
CDBU energy consumption braking unit is based on the IGBT module as the main component, small size, easy to use, can be used in parallel. It is widely used in variable frequency drive system. When the frequency converter controls the motor in rapid and descending operation, the work function will be converted into electrical energy and stored in the DC bus due to the inertia of the load, which will cause the inverter to be in protection of over voltage or fault. The braking unit automatically detects the DC bus voltage then switches to release the regenerative power energy to the braking resistor to get stable running of the inverter in a variety of operating grid.
